MV2s on E89?

Is there any reason that it's seemingly impossible to find pictures of MV2s on the E89 Z4? Plenty of pictures for the E85 as they came as stock.

I've got my eyes on the set in our very own classifieds for when I join the Z4 club for real in July and a photoshop jobby seems to imply that they suit the car quite well (to my eyes at least)

Is there a reason in particular that this isn't a thing? Tyre sizing is 225/40 front and 255/35 rear which is the same staggered tyre setup for OE 18 inch wheels on the E89. The only difference I can see is ET (29F, 40R for the E89, 47F 50R on the E85) which I'm guessing could be the reason? Not really sure what ET is though and what difference it makes so would appreciate being told why it's a bad idea

The mock up above isn't showing Mv2s :? & i suspect you haven't found or can't find any images online due to them most likeley looking gash on a E89
If you must have them however then add 15/20mm spacers to front & rear

The ET is a measure of the offset - the distance between the centre-line of the wheel and the face that bolts onto the hub.

So in effect the MV2s will sit 18mm further into the wheel-arch at the front and 10mm further in at the rear - hence the need for spacers as suggested by mr wilks!

Have a look on here to find E89 19" wheel options:- http://www.alloywheelsdirect.net/bmw_alloy_wheels/z4_e89_alloys

Otherwise there are plenty of non-OEM options like CSL replicas, Veemans, etc.

Hopefully someone might be able to post some photos.

I just remembered he had these stunners in stock last year:-
