Music query for E89

Hello,

So picked up the new (to us) Z4 on Weds, 35i with idrive etc but doesn't seem to have a USB connection. We tried an aux cable we had but doesn't seem to play through iPhone 4S. Any ideas?

Also, when putting a cd in and copying it to HDD it comes up unknown artist unknown album and I have then been renaming the album manually. Any easier way to do this?

If you have BMW Assist with the car, the tracks should name themselves via the gracenote databases on the HD and via internet link it has to BMW Assist. You may need to rename some tracks though for titles it doesn't know.

On pre MY11 cars, USB in the armrest was an option (now standard) if you don't have this then you must use AUX if fitted (choose this input directly from the iDrive). The USB in the glovebox is for importing tracks into the HD from a USB stick only.
