My son and I went to see Muse in concert last night at the Manchester Arena. Now I don't often post things like this but I just feel compelled to do so. I have been a huge 'rock' music fan from my teenage days and been to many, many concerts through the years but last night oh my word I was simply blown away ! I have been a big fan of Muse since their 2006 album 'Black Holes and Revelations' but have just not managed to get to see them...until last night. It was simply incredible !

The musicianship, the stage design, the lighting and projections, the flying 'drones' and much more all combined to simply take your breath away. The sound was superb...loud, punchy and clear with all components distinct and not 'mushy'. They played a great 2 hour set drawing heavily from their current 'Drones' album with a smattering of other favourites from down the years. The last song 'Knights of Cydonia' was absolutely tumultuous with the whole audience singing along to final chorus....just awesome. Now I am not easily impressed and I paid £65 each for two tickets but it was worth every single penny ! If you like rock then you MUST see Muse ! Fabulous!
