Multichanger CD bay stuck open

Hi guys

Calling on your help once again.

I've got a problem with the CD multi changer. Its shows as Not Available on the display. An I cant eject the caddy as disk/tray 5 is stuck out. When I press eject it appears to try and push something up or back to no avail.

I have no idea what to do.

Anyone had this happen before? Can I get to it via the boot?

Mine used to do this in my old car, a good wack used to free it, but obviously don't wack it too hard!

Every multi changer problem gets the same advice, "give it a good whack" but I can tell you from experience that it actually works! The secret though I'd finding the right thing to hit it with
