Multi change CD issues

I have a Business CD with the 6 rack CD holder in the middle. I can put CD's in, it seems to make buzzing noises, then tells me there are no CD's in the rack.

I have read varying reports about the multi change CD player, most of which say they are impossible to repair and tricky to remove. Are they right? Is it doomed? Or is there a way of getting it going again I have not yet found?

Are the CDs in the correct way up ???? The buzzing noise indicates something in there, just can"t read it
 
A tap with a heavry object might fix. Other than that replace with a MP3 interface of some sort.
 
They are the correct way up, I checked. I think it has something to do with an internal sensor on the unit malfunctioning. I have put in an MP3 lead and use it via Aux, works well - but it would be nice to have the CD's working as well!
 
I wouldn't call aux a MP3 interface really. A proper interface will retain steering wheel controls etc..
 
I don't have steering wheel controls. But I can play my MP3 using the aux input, which is good enough for me! Just wanted to see if there is a way I can resurrect the CD multi changer really.
 
Fair enough, thanks. Worth asking though!

Think l'll just ignore it & use my MP3 then.
