Only not that kind of horny 8) 2 new ones to be precise & a broken roadspring replaced
That was expected but i had recently bought a set of 4 from forum friend "craig3.0" for a bargain price so cheers craig
Had a coolant change as well + new front sidelight so all's well for a while :)
Can,t recommend my indy highly enough £150 all in for MOT ,labour, horn's & coolant ( i supplied the spring)

Sounds like a result, a good Indy is worth their weight in gold

Agreed , he was the only reason i could afford to run my previous 645 .
Its a no frills set up in old mill but he's BMW all the way . he was stuck inside a full engine rebuild on a blown 2008 5 series diesel when i dropped the car .
mind boggling to think it would ever run again but he laughs it off as a "normal" day :?

There was a thread the other day about inspection 2 on an ///M and I spoke about my friends garage, as a result a forum member contacted me to ask for an inspection 1 quote, my Indy was almost half the price of BMW all with OEM oils and parts, quite a saving :driving:

I tend to give a better service to those who buy coffees and drop biscuits and cakes off in to my workshop.

Good news Andy that dose seem a very good price

I had to pip the horn the other day and oh dear how embarrassing. Did you say there are two of them. I think one of mine must not be working as it sounded like a lame mule!!

I'm guessing you didn't just have them change only one spring and at least did the pair to maintain balanced handling?

why ?
have heard it all before & if my indy says " i can do both if you like but its pretty pointless " then i respect his opinion .
i did swap over a single on a passat then did 50k miles over 4 years & no issues whatsoever 8)
have you experienced a problem swapping just single springs ?
