MOT today - Failed - Yeehaa :0)

Silly buggers only replaced the rears

I need to change the fronts also to get the right effect, correct ?

Michealin Pilot sport 4 S

Oil and filter change even though only done 2900 Miles since the last MOT

" NO ADVISERIES" again

Good choice on the tires, I replaced all four of mine recently and cannot fault them, definitely do the fronts as well

I replaced the god awful potenzas on Wednesday with Goodyear Assy 5 - what a revelation, quieter car on normal roads, no crashing over speed bumps, she just feels "planted"

Struggling to find the fronts 225/35 R19 88Y

Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S

Checked with Black circles, National, Kwik-Fit, Asda Non have NRF's in this size.

Ideas please

Costco are good for all Michelins and normally have them on promotion around this time of year. They told me they can get any tyres even if they're not on show in the tyre centre.

Found. Phoned Local Halfords and Billy told me try Formula one autocentre.

Bingo booked on line for next Saturday.

£ 350 for the pair all in.

Fitted, Precision balance, wheel alignment, 10 point winter check inc free screen wash all included.

Result N4LLY - no more hateful run-flats.

If you are still using OE BMW screen-wash don't let Formula One top it up or you are likely to end up with a build up of gunge that will block the filters on your washer pump(s).

What about going up to 235/35/19. That’s what I’ve got on mine. Very small difference just slightly more rim protection. I think I paid about £110 each from black circles earlier in the year

Ordered and paid for now. In no rush, get more life out of the Runflat's, not doing any real milage at the moment anyway. 8)

You should not be running different tyre types on each azle i.e. RFT and NRFT mixed. When I had my 23i i bought NRF MPS4S for the rear, took them to 6 diffferent fitting centres, all refused to fit them unless I had NRF for the front as well! If I remember correctly it was not actually illegal but an ill advised choice that none of the fitting centres would get involved with.
Who fitted these for you??

Errr @mcbutler Michilens fitted to the back.
Wanted and asked for all 4 corners, they could not supply.
Still passed the MOT. Front's are ordered and still legal.
