A couple of advisories
Front OS & NS Suspension arm has slight play in pin/bush (2.4.G.2)

I assume as not a fail it's not a major issue at the moment. I only do about 4k a year
I've had a look at the videos on-line - doesn't look too bad a job but I think I'll let my Indie do it
Anyone any idea on the likely cost?

I assume these are the trailing arms/ control arms? Not particularly expensive, especially if you buy the bits yourself. I bought a pair of Meyee HD control arm bushes and fixings and I am sure it was less than £40 (cant remember exactly).

Yes as far as I can tell when I Googled it and also did a search on here

Around £50 the pair on ebay, if you want wishbones too about £170 for the lot. If you can lift the car you can do it yourself but difficult to get enough purchase without the space a ramp provides.

i always go for poweflex bushes in the housings around £90 the pair and they give a decent improvement to steering feedback

I have a set of ramps but was a bit concerned reading that some people had trouble fitting the new ones
Didn't fancy getting stuck half way through :(

I will have a look at both options suggested - thanks guys

I did one new wishbone on the weekend, will do the other next weekend.
If you just want to do the bushes then probably easier to get a garage to do it, an hours job that I'd not pay more then 1.5 for. If you just did those DIY I think you'd have trouble getting them off without a puller and probably struggle to get them back on without a press.

If you were to DIY then it's easy to put the bushes on the arms off the car. Getting the wishbone off isn't the easiest as it will likely take a lot of persuasion with hammer and splitting fork - mine needed a fair bit, once the old one is off though fitting is easy.

You'll need stands rather than just ramps to take any tension off the arms.

Thanks for the update Scooba_Steve. I think I'm more inclined to let the garage do it then.
Am I correct in assuming it's not something I need to attend to immediately?

If it's just an advisory then plan it but it doesn't need to be ASAP. Can you get more info on the actual bush, the word pin in there makes me wonder if it's the arms. Unless you can get your own parts you're looking around £450 at an indy for both of those.

:( I'll pop back in and clarify
