MOT advisories - which balls & bushes?

Couldn't resist the title.

Anyway, picked up my Zed from her MOT this morning, a couple of advisories as shown...

Offside front balljoint so...this?

Does it just press into the control arm?

Front inner suspension arm rubber bush...well...is that the famous lollipop bush?

Or would it just be easier to buy a ready-made and equipped control arm from eBay?

Thoughts please...no rush...got 364 days to sort it out

I normally just buy the whole control arm/wishbone

Get complete mylee HD arms, makes fitting easier if doing yourself or cheaper if paying someone,

I don't think you can replace the individual bushes any way so think you'll need a whole new arm.

May as well do both sides whilst you are at it and the other bush in question is the lollipopmbushes get a pair of those too.

I've used this guy many times for parts on ebay hes trusted seller you cant go wrong with Meyle HD parts very good brand. Be carefull when searching for parts Z4 seem to have a higher price bracket which i think owners fall into the trap when most parts are E46 variant a lot cheaper

Front control arms and lollipops

Just done them on mine as part of a bigger bit of work.

Not hard once you get going.

Cheers for the advice - I'm pretty handy so don't mind getting dirty - £150 for both sides seems fair enough.

Might as well replace the lolipops too while you're at it ! Doing the same on my z4c.
