Most random question ever?

Very close to picking up my first Z4 - like a kid before Christmas. Anyway, the drive outside my house is steeply sloped. Should I park nose facing down or arse facing down - i.e. does either limit the chances of water gathering and getting in anywhere on a rainy night?

Only ask because I had a car previously where is actually mattered - believe it or not :( Told you this was a random (and potentially stupid) question.

Cheers.

Provided the drains are clear it should be fine either way- if drains are blocked then you could have roof motor issues.

Nose down

- If the door seals ever leak (quite common) you'll find out quickly because the passenger footwell will get damp. Otherwise you might not find out until a rainy day, parked in the middle of nowhere
- If it's a coupe you won't get as a much of a "bird bath"
- Easier to drive out in a hurry to escape the wife

Cheers guys. I'll be all over those drains. Just wondered if on a steep slope one way was preferable. So, nose down, arse in the air it is then.

Bit like one of my exes.

I'm in the US, so my interpretation of "drive" may not be the same, but if you have a sharp angle from your drive to the street, scraping may be a bigger concern.
