More PDC woes

So I'm back at Lovetts waiting on them to play on their computer. PDC still intermittent but the Intravee display at least allowed me to demonstrate the issue and the technician agreed it's not right.

Both centre sensors not picking up a thing until about 18" from the car and even then intermittently. I reckons the shorted sensor has fried the PDC control unit. Let's see what they say.

Again, thank gawd for the warranty!

As long as they don't claim that fitting the Intravee voids the warranty :x

(Sorry, I'm a bit cynical about BMW warranties right at the moment).
 
There will be a fight if they do. The tech that diagnosed it originally is looking at it and confirmed it's not right. If he plays the Intravee interference card it's easy. Unplug it and if they start working I'll put my hands up. Based on the Intravee not being installed when I reported it, I doubt they'll try that on.

EDIT They've just come and told me I need to book it in again to be sorted properly. Ho hum
