I have been trying for a few weeks to get my wife’s 2005 Z4 3.0i to pass inspection. I’ve addressed a couple of issues, but still have two monitors INC.
I’ve done two complete drive cycles:
- idle 2.5 min
- accelerate to 55 mph, hold for 3 min
- remove feet from pedals, coast to <20mph
- accelerate to 55 mph, hold for 5 min
- coast to < 20mph
I cannot get two monitors to set. They are:
- EVAP system
- Sec air system
Is there anything else I should be looking for, or should I continue to perform the drive cycles repeatedly until they set? Note that car is now overdue for inspection which limits driving.
