Anyone thinking about selling a ‘DLV Style’ modified rear box for an E85 3.0Si?

Want a bit more noise, but without drone and retaining a stock look.

I’m not convinced you can even get drone from the 3.0Si.

I have straight/ H-piped my centre resonator, straight piped the small corner one behind that. And now straight piped but with a V-bend inside the original back box.

And still absolutely no drone

Well I don’t want it too loud either.... I’m fairly certain loosing the back box altogether would be too much for me

Yeah I got very worried about noise levels and drone watching videos and reading comments on here, so I did the mods above one at a time, playing it safe making sure it’s not too loud each time I change something and doesn’t drone.

And so far every time I’ve changed something I’ve gone back again to do more to try and get it a bit louder.

The car does sound nice, im just trying to get the best engine note sound I can through the Rev range rather than the loudest. And I do not want any drone

I have aftermarket mufflers with quad setup if interested?

Hi, many thanks, but I don’t really want to modify the bumpers on this car... want to keep it easily reversible back to standard spec.

Any reason why you H piped the two pieces where the centre resonator was? I've just removed this resonator too,
and wondered if a joiner between the two to make the H would be of benefit. Thank you for a reply.

Yeah it’s supposed to help keen and even flow on the exhausts aborning any pulses and can also help scavenging a bit. The E46 M3 of that generation has it. And it gives you a lower pitch exhaust note which I like
