Modified CDV

Apologies if i have missed the latest on this one, but i am interested in getting hold of a modified CDV. I have a couple of queries:-

Does it really make that much difference, i.e. better clutch feel ?
Where can i get one ?
How much ?
Does it damage the clutch if i change it ?

And more importantly, how difficult is it to change. I have very basic knowledge, i.e. changing bulbs, electrical stuff etc, but not exactly mechanical.

Any info/ help would be appreciated as the clutch feel is really starting to PI$$ me off even after owning the car only a couple of months. :x

Zeckhausen sells modified ones for about $40. http://www.zeckhausen.com/CDV.htm. Or you you can buy one from Tischer/Mile One for $12 and modify it yourself following instructions from this site: http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1227&p=17422&hilit=+cdv+drill#p17422
