Hi everyone, I've been reading lots of posts on the forum and I believe it's possible to get Android Auto set up on the car and also to get my folding mirrors to fold when unlocking and locking the car? Unfortunately it seems way above my technical know how and I was wondering if anyone offers such a service? Thanks for any advice. Simon.

To have Fold On Lock, then you need to have the small round button next to the mirror "side" button on the drivers door switch panel. If you do then you have Powerfold mirrors and it can be done....... Or is it already!! It's amazing how many owners don't realise they already have Fold On Lock! To achieve this you need to press and hold the fob Lock button for about 2 seconds, and not just a normal press and release!mitch36 said:

Android Auto - If you currently have iDrive then the fitting of an mmi box will give you AA. My personal recommendation is the Mr12volt box.
Or if you don't have iDrive then you can have an Android Touchscreen fitted.

Hi Dave, many thanks for the reply, much appreciated. I do have the small round button which when pressed will either unfold or fold the mirrors so hopefully it can be done. I will try and hold the lock button just to see if I have got fold on lock but sounds like it can be improved either way.
I do have the iDrive system and I've seen your videos (very good by the way) showing the Mr12volt box which looks exactly what I want.
I'd be very interested in you doing this for me if you don't mind? Where abouts are you and if you don't mind maybe you could let me know costs etc?
