Hi Guys

I am struggling to find the GY F1 eagle in 255/40/17, they are out of stock at Blackcircles and Tyreleader and they got no dates for me.

I am tempted to stick the KUMHO at the back and the GY F1 eagle at the front (different size 225/45/17) , I been offered a very good deal at F1AUTOCENTRES !

Can I have your thoughts please ?!

Cheers

Its not particularly ideal, but so long as you have the same tyres on the same axles then it shouldn't cause you too much bother. You just have to be mindful that one may offer more grip than the other and adjust your driving style to suit. Probably you will never really notice unless emergency braking or driving on the limit.

I don't see any issue , many members have OCD so the differeing brands would twist their mind but you are running a 2.0 Z4 , you aren't likely to be exploring the boundaries of the car at every oportunity & even if you did i doubt the tyres chosen would upset the car even at max speed :driving: .
I currently have Kumho 225 45 17 on the rear of my Astra van with 205 50 17 Vredestein Wintracs on the front :o :o ,been that way for 10/12k (0r last Sept) & zero issues in any weather
My Z has Michelin rears & Uniroyal fronts , again no issues & that's been pushed around the bends much faster
Matching 4 is best but if that's not feasable crack on id say
