Misting Phenomenon

A couple of weeks ago after late night 'spirited' drive along quiet A roads I noticed a slight misting of the windscreen just after I'd exited a roundabout. It soon demisted along the next straight section to appear again after the next roundabout.
Wondering whether the front drains were blocked and water was sloshing about near the cabin air intake vents I thought I'd better check and the next day I found the passenger side drains were clear but the drivers side one that empties in the middle of the bulkhead was partially blocked and the one near the driver's wing was blocked and had some water standing in it - so I cleaned them out and made sure they were draining nicely.
Tonight on my way home however I had some misting up again as I was enjoying some bendy back roads near where I live.
Tomorrow I will check the pollen filter and see if it is dry in there.
I positive I'm not wetting myself when I get excited. :(
Anybody else come across this or any thoughts?

Can i ask how you cleaned the bulkhead one out? -i cant get my arms down the back of the engine properly?

Pictures please... as heard about this one, or is it a wire brush job?

Luckily, there were just a few leaves in the end of the drain and I hooked them out with a bit of coat hanger wire bent over at the end so as not to damage anything. The wing one I blasted out with compressed air.

When I checked my drain I don't have a grey flap thing. Looks like it's been removed, which might be a good idea as there's less chance of the drain being blocked.

I think you're right. I will just try and remember to check mine more often though.

Easy to clean out if you remove the wiper tray - there is one drain into the engine bay (The outlet you show above) but there are also two vents into the wings that can become blocked (mine were blocked with leaves) - You can only clear them by removing the wiper tray. Also, there is a lot of muck that ends up under the tray, gave mine a good clear out when I did the wiper fix last weekend.

Hi you mention the pollen filter wet,is this a known leak area as my carpets are soaked on passenger side, and if so how does water get into the pollen filter.cheers
