familiarising myself with new car & have noticed a moisture /condensation in both front fogs .
is this a usual & is there a quick fix ?
thanks

happened very occasionally on main headlight 6 series ( twice in 7 months )
took rear backing plate off & dried out with hairdryer then no trouble for months
guessing the fogs have a weephole somewhere that clogs ?

or maybe need to use them more so bulb heat dry's out inside ?

Mine are like it too, with no warranty etc (in my case) it looks like it will be a DIY Job at some point.

Will take them off and bring them in the house at some point, see if I can rob her hairdryer and rectify it. Apparently they're fairly easy to remove, 1 screw from the front and 2 from inside the wheelarch service panel.

not a big issue just don't like moisture where it shouldn't be ? cleaned the outside +the headlights as they were sligtly "milky" with a mild paint renovator . gave them a good polish after & now look like new :)

Take them off, open them up and stick the lens part in the oven at around 70 degrees to dry them right out, use a little bit of grease on the seals and put them back together. You do this with headlights, rear lights and foglights. I've been doing it for years and soon has them back to normal.
