missing after long idle-

Denso Iridium IXU 24s replaced my stock plugs at 34k. I prefer the iridium fine tip plugs over long life platinum.

result, anyone looking for original ngk dcpr8ekp irridium plugs for the m ? bmw wanted a hundred quid, local factors 84 and 76 for six plugs, spoke to matt at pro parts peterborough , 01733 575800 after seeing them on ebay, 52 quid inc vat and delivery. so cheap i had to ask the question whether they were in fact genuine and not fakes, which i was'nt aware that there are a lot of copy parts around. pro parts are official ngk stockists and ebay top sellers; really good company, give them a try, i think this must be a record low price,.... unless you know otherwise. :driving: :D

took the mc out for a blast and all seems fine , guess the long idle maybe choked her up a bit, i think i read here somewhere that they overfuel when started from cold, think i will just drive right away next time. are plugs changed at inspection 2 only / if so shes's done 44k on the same plugs so must be worth putting a set in surely. any ideas of cheapest place for them, they retail at over 12 quid each.

44k on the same plugs :o Yep change those! I have NGK's and the car does run well (but I'll or rather it will just stall on its own accord when she's in a bad mood, just the same when the onboard computer reboots for no particular reason). I guess they all have their little character.

One otherthing which may help is either cleaning opr getting a new MAFF sensor, it worked for me.

Funny how we get paranoid as soon as theure is a different noise or something different as to hoxw the car behaves. On the other hand it avoids larger problems!
