Misfire and engine light on

After three weeks in the garage started her up and she fired up first turn, however the engine lamp came on and the engine was running really lumpy. Then the radio came on and the clock was just the four dashes.

Switched the engine off and restarted and after a short period of raised idling she settled to her normal tickover without any error lamps.

Is this the normal low level battery fault or have I stumbled across another undocumented feature of the Z4 ecu ?

Take for a run & see how it goes , coilpack would be my first port of call but they don,t usually fault then return to normal ?
Get the car out & up to temp before a decent motorway run then if no issues look to getting a trickle charger for periods of low use

Mine did exactly the same when the battery was on its way out and once when I left it for quite a while un driven. Perfect once the battery got a bit of charge in him!

I kept her running for about half an hour while I cleaned the wheels and give her a local run and all seemed fine, although I think I need to reset the windows as I noticed the drop was only about 5mm when opening the door.

Cheers not quite so worried now.
