Mirror glass fell out!

Washing the car today and the mirror glass just fell out and smashed on the ground.
Reckon all this cold we've been having - just killed the glue.
Been looking on flea-bay and there's a couple of blokes selling the heated glass for £14.
I've no idea what BMW would be looking at for the glass but has anyone tried these cheaper
kits with any success or better just heading to BMW with the credit card?

i ve had my glass fall out drivers side the only way is to buy one from bmw the cost id sit down now----------- 100 pounds

mine dropped out too!! new one from bm 110! bastard to fit- see my thread!

same happened to me a couple of weeks ago, £20 for the glass on ebay and its perfect. £110- what a joke.

Mine came off, drivers side too. I used double sided tape I used for number plates to put it back on.

Still firmly attached
