It is as it says, a BMW Navigation System. But is it known under another name? I can't find anything about it on the internet.

I'm pretty sure its Siemens/VDO.
It uses the same dvd's as the professional.

I have the same in mine. It uses the high navigation DVDs. You can update the MKIV firmware to v32.2 and there are maps for 2019, although I've noticed addresses are still not present and a lot of postcodes don't work.

Stock radio comes from Siemens/VDO.
There's a sticker on top that says so
