I have one of these while the z4 is in the garage. Its a brand new 09 with 15 miles on. I am very impressed. The diesel engine is very responsive. The best thing is the steering. Beautifully weighted and responsive. It puts the Z4 steering to shame. Very impressed!!!

I'm not too sure of the facelift MINI to be honest. It all looks a bit high up to me compared with the first generation.

The second generation MINI design is one of the reasons I'm in a Z4 now! If they just improved the MINI without re-designing it and they had kept the engine being supercharged, I probably would have bought a new JCW Cooper S instead.
