Millers Petrol Ecomax additive

Has anyone tried this stuff? £10 bottle will do 500litres of fuel so it will last a while. Worth the money?

Used the diesel version in our Golf with noticeable effect , would expect it to only do good if you want to try it out although far less mechanicals in a NA petrol engine that require the addition of the additive :wink:

Yeah I've seen lots of very positive reviews for the diesel stuff, but hardly any at all for the petrol one.

Might give it a test, although I suspect the differences will be hard to spot.

I've not seen that and always been suspicious of additives. I might try this in the S-Max.

BMW advise not to use any type of fuel additives over and above whats in the fuel anyways.

Would it invalidate your warranty? :?

IF you are looking for a performance or economy benefit i think you would be disappointed , just use the higher grade fuel at the pump ,
on a diesel there are more parts that benefit from a chemical clean up internally

Tesco do the highest grade pump petrol 99 octane. It does make a difference
