Michelin PSS, symmetrical for either side of car or not?

Evening all,

Might be dumb question time, but....

Received my 4 michelin pilot super sports today, and leaving aside the fact that 2 were the wrong size for the moment, are these handed tyres, ie you have 1 for the near and 1 for the off side, or are then the same so that a tyre can be on either side of the car?

I ask as I see that they are marked with an outside and inside, but that I have 2 identical tyres and was perhaps expecting a mirror image for each side?

Kind regards,

Ok googled it and apparently it does not matter, so long as "outside" is outside on the car. Looks odd to me, but apparently I am thinking about this in an old fashioned water pushing way when it fact it is nothing to do with that.

I think you are confusing asymmetric with directional.
PSSs will fit left or tight sides of your car - provided the size is right ;)

If you think that looks odd, have a look at Vredestein Sessanta's :D

I was assuming them to be directional, but correct they are not. Still i got sent 245's for the front when i ordered 225's, so not going on at the moment any how.
