Michelin PS5 - 255/30 R18 (almost new)

I have two Michelin PS5's (255/35 R18) to sell they have done 20 miles on my E86 (posted on Ebay link below).

The back story, I replaced my old non standard allows for CSL replica's and after talking to BM Autosport my Bridgestone Ponza's could be transferred. Wind the clock on 12 months and I needed to replace the tyres and decided on Michelin Pilot Sport PS5's. I drove the 20 miles to get these fitted and just did a 'like for like' on size. But the Michelin have a slightly different profile and the tyres are too narrow (This has been confirmed in forum).

So I need to change the tyres and the garage is very clear, as soon as I left they were no longer resalable so tough luck. They did offer a deal on the fronts as they were a more common size. But not on the back!

I know I'm going to take a loss and kicking myself I should have taken the extra time to check before driving out... But good news is my loss is potentially someone else's gain.

Here's a link to the Ebay posting

Any questions let me know

You may want to amend this post to state they're actually 255/35r18 as per the ebay advert (and photo of the tyre)

what do you mean, the tyres are too narrow? i'm happily running 255/35/R18 tyres on some 9.5" rims, seems fine to me... how wide are your CSL reps?

if you had 255/35/R18s on before, then surely you can have 255/35/R18s on again? :?

I sent this around a couple of weeks back to check if I was seeing things, Consensus was too narrow... To be fair it's my weekend car and gets a fair amount of pampering. So something not quite right is very wrong... So I've managed to sell my tyres for 105 each (yes I know painful loss).

Thanks for jumping in really appreciate this forum it's an incredible knowledge base / resource.

I'll update the add title

Nick
