Looking on Camskill website and there are 3 versions of the Michelin pilot sport 3's for 225/40/18 ..£103.75 / £96.40 / £92.85
Anyone happen to know what's the difference between these three...obviously being new years eve I doubt anyone will answer their phone so thought I'd ask here first

One is Y rated

Two are W rated

Don't know what the S1 designation means, unless it's a slightly newer moulding, as they normally start at 0.

Either W or Y will be suitable for yours as W is suitable for upto 168mph.

Thanks guys..

I ought to know as I used to work for Goodyear. I always remember when we did back to back testing - especially on the McLaren road car the Michelin tyre had a very soft sidewall compared to our Goodyear tyre. The test driver Jonathan Palmer always loved the Michelin from cold because of this but preferred ours when up to temp. I'm hoping that these PS3's have the same soft sidewall to help the ride in comparison to my ultra stiff runflats

Not that it's particularly similar to the Z4 but I have PS3s on our fiesta and they are great all rounders and have a compliant comfortable ride - genuinely impressed.
