Michelin, Goodyear or Pirreli

I agree on the Goodyear F1 Asymmetric 2 tires. That's what mine is wearing now, and I have been very satisfied with them.

Vreds are wearing well on my Quattro, though having tried many tyres found the Michelin PS3's excellent, wearing very well & still giving brilliant grip in the wet on 2mm before I changed them.

I've just switched to Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 tyres all round. When I bought the car last October, it had worn non-runflats at the back, and two fairly new runflats at the front. I changed the rear tyres out of necessity a couple of months ago, and chose the Goodyears, but the revelation was when I decided to write off the runflats this week and switch to the Goodyears on the front wheels too...

I feel like I've got a completely different car. The handling has been transformed, and I'm able to go through bends 10-15mph faster than I would have felt comfortable doing on the previous tyres. The car sticks to the road through every twist and turn, and feels so much more supple and compliant, with none of the tramlining I used to get. On top of which, the ride is now silky smooth.

I can't compare to other non-runflats, but I couldn't be happier with the Goodyears.
