Mialinkup smart car with 2006 Z4

Came across this on kickstarter earlier. I haven't got a clue about this sort of stuff. But does anybody know if this would work with my Z4? Do you think this would be able to control the soft top?

Seems to be more monitoring than anything else. You need a reinhold or gaptech module for the roof.

It's seems to be that, but has a number of additional features. Bluetooth to fm transmitter, also shows in video that windows can be lowered from the app and also engine turned on remotely on some car models. So wasn't sure if that would be feasible.

Does it look like this plug in where diagnostics cable goes?
