MHD Battery Charger?

I noticed the following sensor options are ticked by default aswell, is that right? They sound like optional extras to me but they were all ticked by default?

Ok so tried again this morning, full flash stage 1. Nothing, no boost at all a complete mess.

Loathe to spend any more money on monitoring, it can’t be a hardware issue as stock flash is absolutely fine. Also it’s f**ked my service history completely, don’t even know how that happens but apparently I’m now 10 miles overdue an oil change, before the flag it was due in about 8000 miles!

Really not happy, hope I can get a refund. f**k knows what I can do about the service counter?

Really odd regarding the service issue, IMO pop Martial from MHD a message, they have really good a support and will sort you out.
I also recommend reading the MHD manual here: https://mhdtuning.com/downloads/MHD%20FLASHER%20N54%20USER%20GUIDE.pdf
It details all of the options on the screen you showed. More specifically

2. Cold Start noise reduction: suppresses
raised idle rpm cold start phase.

10.3.5Bar (N2O) Map Sensor / 4Bar Map Sensor. Check one of these boxes if you
have a 3.5 or 4 bar sensor installed. Do not check if you have a jb4 installed.

12.ADV O2 installed: check this only if you installed the aftermarket Lambda sensors
sold by Chris@CKI.

For the OEM Catted / DP option, need to check when this should be ticked or not

Edit: I also recommend purchasing the monitoring module, to get logs so you can check the car is running all good under the new levels of boost.

It seems like those tick boxes might be the root issue, my issue is they were ticked by default so I didn’t want to touch them.

I ticked cold start noise reduction, changed the exhaust burble to my liking and also ticked the OEM DP option (as I still have OEM downpipes, I thought I should tick this?). On the first flash I also ticked linear throttle and turbo wastegate fix, which I’ve since unticked as I didn't;t like the drive so much.

I have sent them a message on FB, hopefully they get back to me soon.

Can anyone else with a 35iS print screen their options for a stock car?

Actually I might have got the OEM / Catted DP option the wrong way round. I think it stays on if you have OEM DP's. I will have a google and see if I can confirm.

If no one offers a screen print, I will post mine up in a day or two when my OBD cable arrives. But if martial replies by then I am sure he can let you know as well :)

It will almost certainly be the map sensor options that are ticked that are causing your boost issues.

Yes, the MAP sensor options are the reason you have the no boost scenario. By default everything is unticked and sliders are kept all the way to the left.

Those options are not ticked by default. This is something you have done, maybe by accident, but certainly no fault of the MHD app.

Quick update, did a full flash again Stage 1+ with those options unticked. All good now! Have dialled the burble down though, the hard mode is ridiculous. It's hard to remember but medium seems about the same as stock to me?

Also discovered that disabling kickdown also disables launch control, FYI.

Happy days. Did reflashing it fix the service history too?

No I had to Google that, thankfully it was very simple. Bit annoying it's out of sync now, but I've got a track day booked next month so will bring the Oil Service forward to help with that anyway. Expensive things these automobiles!

Huge bump!

Finally got my OBD port fixed and I’m flashing right now.... almost touching cloth the anxiety is terrible.

Probably should have hoovered the seats first. I also only realised after I’d got out and started the flash that the DRLs are always bloody on! I thought ‘0’ was everything off on the lights dial but nope. Fingers crossed.
How did it go Chris? I did mine this past week and found the only issue was effin Google Play, blocking the purchase . Dead pleased with the result now though. I did read your original post about the connection issue trust things are better now!
