I just bought a non M multifunction steering wheel to replace my non buttony one. Question is, what do I need to interface it with the car? Is it a plug and play job, or do I need a new slip ring etc? Ive got a 2003 3.0i if thats relevant. Any info would be super appreciated :wink:
 
Beautiful! Exactly what I was searching for. Thanks for the heads up. Looking forward to getting my hands on it now, quite literally :P Im going to re-wire the wheel so that the volume controls are on the RH side tho :wink:

It would be nice if that was possible, but it's not. The buttons are directly connected to the i-bus so couldn't be swapped around without really major electronic surgery. And then the icons on the buttons would be wrong...

Good luck with the install though. It's pretty easy :thumbsup:
