Measure the VANOS seal replacment benefits

Hi there!

I was wondering,has anyone ever measure the before/after performance of the car due to a VANOS seal replacement? Will it be visible on a perfomance pad test (Nm and HP, mainly I think it will modify the curve, not the final result)?

I am planning to bring my car for a test, just curious if anyone has experience with it

I've not measured, but it was a very noticeable improvement in my M52B28 and M54B30. The difference is in the mid range, mid power area. At full throttle it is not noticeable. Fuel economy in the M52 also went up by almost 5mpg.
