Hello there!
My name is Maciej, and I live in Poland (Krakow to be exact)
I've just recently bought 2006 3.0si Hellred Z4 which I'll be collecting on friday (hopefully!!)
Up until now I was driving a 99 Fiat Barchetta (limited Ed.), which if anyone is interested can be viewed here http://www.fiatforum.com/barchetta/210226-barchetta-limited-edition-99-mckoval.html
(I hope it's OK to post links to other car forums..)

And I'm still the erhmmm.. admin of polish Fiat Barchetta forum..

But anyways, after a few months of searching I've finally found the Zed, so I'm here

Im afraid I'll have a lot of questions regarding the car in the close future
(esp. with the wheels and tires, which are a bit odd in my z4..)

I have only the pics from an ad I found it by..
as I told - this is 2006 3.0si
and I'll be recieving it in a week time..

these are the photos

48352.th.jpg 48353.th.jpg 48355.th.jpg

As you can see it has
- electric seats - unfortunatelly not M-sport
- auto air/con
- M steering wheel
- M 18" allots - ant that's the problem..

Previous owner wanted the M wheels badly, unfortunatelly the rear M wheels (9" ET 30) dont fit the SI, so he bought 4 front wheels ( 8" ET 40ish..) and fitted it with tiresizes just as it was on 17" - so I'll have 225/40/18 on both front and rear - in my opinion its definatelly to narrow to be able to control those 320Nm of torque with the DSC off..
And as far as I know recommended 255/35/18 is too wide for 8" rim
so probably I'll try the 245/40/18 setup
or just by a set of 108's in some futere and fit it with 225/255 setup
what do you think?

other plans are:
-oem satnav
-m-seats
-CAI (probably BMC)
-cat-back exhaust
-probably Quaife Hellical LSD
-probably fully adjustable suspension
but these are rather hopes and dreams than plans cause I have a really long-term loan for this car..

anyways I wouldnt be able to pick a decent Z4 if not this forum :)

I've picked up the car last a week ago, in Warsaw (350km away from krakow) - the trip back home was quite a challenge - the temperature was only +6 dgrs, it was raining all over, and I was after 24hrs of work..

but the drive was terrific - the Z isn't comperable to any other RWD i drove in means of stability :driving:

Thank you all for the warm welcome :)

Recently the car has been slightly lowered with M-sport springs (thanx JDM) )
and a Wiechers-sport front strut brace has been installed (The OE BMW strut brace does not fit the N52 engine perfectly, as most of you already know)

ANyways enjoy the pics, and stay tuned for more :)
