your opinions please...

1. black/white/neither
2. where i should get it done.
3. how much i should be looking to pay (i have a roadster and soon picking up my hartop)

oh and does anyone have any pics? found a couple of black ones, but no white ones as of yet.

a friend recently did it somewhere up in enfield. paid £1k and he has a 3 series coupe. it also comes with 5 years guarantee. what do you think?

i assume you want to get the car wrapped, i dont like matte at all, just dont see the point. if i had to id say white.

Matt grey or matt burgundy for me - or maybe chrome?

If I was going for white, it'd have to be satin white (somewhere between matt & gloss).

And then you peel it off and realise you need a re-spray to sort the damage :o

What a big waste of money, but some CSL's instead :D

what damage?

I guess the glue and associated issue of retaining nasty chemicals near the paint surface (around edges maybe, for instance), is probably enough to give paintwork a hard time.

Maybe on new really well prepared paint (read totally decontaminated), it's a good idea, but I imagine the really good places charge a pretty penny to do it!?

Anyway, I think it's crap anyway. I have seen 'good' jobs that cost enough up close and they look pretty poor to be honest. Nothing like a proper painted surface.
