I do like the MX5, well I've got one so I would say that! LOL. Not sure about the matte black though. I think the MX5 works best as a 'cheap and cheerful' everyday driver. No loud exhausts, no turbos etc etc. A proper British sports car!

love the old style MX5 with the pop ups and chrome single finger door handle.

now they are just a little dull

like the MX5s, even the new brand-wide "smiley face". Don't like the mat black though. Don't really like any of the mat finishes. :thumbsdown:

I was quoting Clarkson TBH. He said the MX5 was the best British sports car ever built the same way that a 'full English' breakfast wasthe best breakfast ever invented and still called a full English anywhere else even in Japan. Sort of makes sense?

Matt black needs to crawl away and die on all but the most outlandish aftermarket looking cars. IMO
