Hopefully this doesn't break any forum rules, but a mate at work is selling his gen1 997 C2S as he's emigrating to Dubai in a couple of weeks, and as I know people on this forum have bought 911sin the past, and it looks like a super example, and he's anal about over-servicing, warming through etc., then I think it might be a bit of a belter.
Advertised on Pistonheads already, and think it could be prised away from him for a couple of grand less for a no hassle sale.
I'm tempted myself, but can't convince the wife, after recently buying the Cayman.

Have just spent all morning (5.30 start!) hooning around the north york moors, and it goes very well indeed, and with the sports chrono and sports exhaust it sounds superb.
