C Curtis Active member Yatton Jul 27, 2008 #2 You don't have to reset anything but make sure the ignition is switched off when you unplug the old unit or the ECU will record a code for low voltage or open circuit at the MAF sensor.

S Shipkiller Veteran Jul 27, 2008 #3 You don't have too, but resetting the computer will reset the high and low setpoints used on the MAF... Just disconnect the battery cable for about 10 min...
