Its a great place , great food ,great staff & on a sunny day there is no beer garden i know of with a better view of the ribble valley

Glad you enjoyed it Mr M , , ,under the hour from Blackpool right in the Trough of Bowland is another gem . .
The landlord is a riot & the food & surroundings is well worth the drive out .
Also has rooms above if you wanted a weekend out there

Went over the hill earlier into Clitheroe for a wander & a wine 8) mrs w driving back ended up in the Emporium , its food & drink with atmosphere & you can wander around downstairs & buy stuff , great place . http://www.theemporiumclitheroe.co.uk/

Anyhow plenty of Zedders in the surrounding area so make a day of it next saturday the 10th aug http://www.clitheroefoodfestival.co.uk/
