Mallory Park, threatened closure.

Mallory is yet another circuit in this country that is under threat from the NIMBY's over noise issues, while I have some sympathy for local residents, how many moved into the vicinity knowing full well there was a motor racing circuit there. Then they start to complain about the noise in the same way people buy a house next to an airport and then claim the aircraft taking off and landing are to noisy. Look at Croft a fantastic little circuit in the NE which has virtually been shut down because of this (and allegedly the main protagonist was the owners ex wife). It's time to act and show these NIMBY's what we really think of them, please sign the petition in the hope we can keep Mallory Park open.

Signed as well, i get really cross with people that buy a house knowing whats nearby and then complain! My dad used to get it all the time when he owned a car dealership in the middle of a village, people moving in the complaining about the noise of the valet bay and car delivery's!!! :headbang: YOU KNEW THE DEALERSHIP WAS THERE WHEN YOU BOUGHT THE HOUSE SO SHUT THE F*** UP MOANING ABOUT IT!!!
 
Same in my business. As an example, lets say we have a 300 year old pub and a developer builds residential either near us or above us, the next thing you know we have the Council on our back about noise.
