I now expect a full on slagging from Woots :P

Nosa, I feel for you, terrible thing to happen.

It never ceases to amaze me how we have completely f##ked up society with our social engineering, all that money and effort to produce countless millions of feckless, useless, idle, spongers who have no respect for anything or anyone and yet they expect me to pay for their home, their food, their medical care, their drinking and their drugs. I guess it will get worse before it ever gets better. (rant over)

Dent man says no :( :(
So does the father-in-law :(

I sent him a link to this thread and he's looked at the pictures, and from your decription about folds in the metal he says the panels are beyond salvaging. So looks like new panels are required. I wonder how much extra an ///M bonnet would be? If you end up buying a new bonnet it might be worth investigating? (I think they fit pre-facelift but maybe someone on here can confirm).

Thanks for investigating for me a11y

Hmm an //M bonnet, I like this idea, Apart from aesthetics is there any other gains from fitting one areo- dynamic gains etc? also i would tend to imagine this would affect my Insurance as well....

Opinions on this option please

I am officially hijacking my own thread. :hijacked:

I would go with the ///M bonnet but only with the ///M bumper as well. Best to talk to your insurance company only they can give you a definitive answer about insurance and extra premium etc.

I'm definitely not a fan of ///M stuff on non-M cars (apart from things that actually make a difference: seats, steering wheel, gear knob, suspension etc)... definitely not bonnet/bumper

Would imagine insurance company would bend you over and ask if you prefer vaseline or KY :P

There are 2 marines, Royal Marines and SubMarines, both carry the Navy 8) :poke:
