So had a weekend full of ups and downs. just posting a few pics incase anyone is interested.

So the weekend started great. I had made a new gear knob handbrake handle and twiddle knobs for the radio. And they went on Friday evening. I think there great even if i do say so myself. But they are a little cold first thing in the morning.

Saturday i had my new to me wheels fitted. I am quite sure they are replicas i paid £150 for them. One of the fronts had a crack in it about 20mm long. I welded it up the aluminum seemed really good quality. So i am guessing they are reasonable quality replicas at least. They where going to be a temporary thing while i refurbished the 108s. But i love the look.

I know she is dirty. I had just come back from the Pistonheads Sunday Service. Was hopping to see some others from this forum. But only saw 2 other zeds and no owners in sight. Great day out until i stopped at a garage nearly home. The car was running fine when i stopped it. Then went to start it and it was running like a bag of nails on only four cylinders. Idling around 800 and 1500 rpm. Tried to drive it home and that was not happening. My brother came out and towed me home. We used his code reader and i have error p1633 should be able to fix it. But i want to drive not fiddle with it.

Machine monkey, those aluminium additions look really good quality  Look forward to your strut in the NY :D

Sorry about this shameless plug i did make a few extra for sale. I had £40 each in mind but could be open to offers?
They are stainless steel so they are heavy. If you have a light weight them on you zed these are not for you.

Well done on the bits, they look very good indeed

Remember having an aluminium gear lever on my Puma, not good on a cold winters day :D
