m40i vs 20i exhaust note and drive ?

Hi, Im from India and we don't have very fast roads to unleash the power.
But still I would like to test bothy 20i and 40i and see if 20i is fair enough and very close to 40i, then I can live with the 20i itself.

Can someone confirm how loud both are and how is the difference ?

Is the m40i very very louder than 20i or just loud ? :|
