So I have just had the call form my Indy to say the car is ready to collect and running sweet.

I nearly fell over when I come to the price but I did have a fair amount of work done and was sort of expecting it to be high.

So the car has had the following work ddone, mainly for my piece of mind and hopefully to future proof bills for a bit.

Change Gearbox Oil
Inspection 2 - Inc Diff oil
Coolant change
Fit front braided hoses (rears will be done with lines later in the year)
Brake fluid change to ATE TYP 200
Powerflex RTAB
New rear exhaust hanger
AUX belt
strip adjust and clean rear handbrake and shoes
Take off rear seized spacers

The only advisories were Exhaust Clamps a bit rusty but no leaks and rear brake pipes slightly corroded but still perfectly safe and may last a few more years. Both common issues on the M3.

The diff, gearbox & engine were leak free and he praised how clean the car was underneath and said it was a pleasure to work one compared to some he has seen.

It needed 2 Shims on Cylinder 2 but otherwise all are within spec.

Excited to pick it up now and enjoy some trouble free motoring.

Next work will be a suspension refresh starting in a few months.

Go on, how much did that little lot cost.?

£1196 :?

BMS Surrey did it for me, driving amazing at the moment I'm addicted to the S54 noise too :)

I'll get some proper pics up soon it's mega dirty at the momen though

s54 is a total legend ..... with every single new car i have i realise that was the end of something special, these eco turbo engines just don't have the same feel, sound, mechanical thrash, they really smashed it with the s54... was REALLY interested to see ferrari went to the same mechancial valve train on the new F12 TDF, using similarly small shims etc.....bmw really didn't skimp on the s54, very impressive to see ferrari going back to that for its top end f12.
