Hi All
I'm new here, I'm from Spain and I hope to have a good time here :)
I want to ask you somethig that you know for sure:
I've bought a goodridge brake hoses for my car a 2006 Z4M but they have sent me a M3 e46 ones (SBW0901-4P M3 e46)
it will fix in my Z4M coupe????, I know(...well not me BMW ETK knows jajajajaja..) that the z4's have 2 front hoses and 4 rear hoses and in my kit only there are 4 hoses

Thanks a lot

Phew....for a minute there reading the title I thought some new version of the M3 had shown significantly more speed than the Z4M...!!!!

:o

Goodridge don't list an application for the Z4M.

However the Z4M and the e46 M3 CSL have the same brakes. The 'normal' e46 M3 doesn't have the same brakes, so probably doesn't have the same pipes.

Hi

I've seen that they don't list application for Z4M :x

In the shop where I bought it (speedreligion) keep on telling me that they fit perfectly ,Is almost sure that front will fit , if the rear hose is long enough maybe it would fit too

Thanks

Speedreligion run both e46 M3 and e46 CSLs, so I'd assume they'd know what they're talking about.

Not investigated a Goodridge set for the Z4M myself yet, but did get 6 pipes for my M5 - although looking at their application list it does seem that 4 pipes is more normal.

I'll have a look on RealOEM/BMWFans and see if I can tell how many the Z4M has compared to the non-CSL e46. I know the brakes are different, but don't know how much of the flexible pipework is different...

Right, the rears are slightly different on the CSL, M3 and Z4M (and slightly different again on pre-2002 e46 M3s)

However part #9 in the 1st & 2nd pictures and part #6 in the 3rd are the same part.

The Z4M brake pipe is in two sections for some reason (maybe for a better fit?), so I assume the two rear ones you've got only replace the pipes closest to the caliper in Z4M application. However without having the wheels of and the car in the air, it would be difficult to measure these to see if they'll fit.

definitively the rear ones doesn't fil at all, z4M has 2 hoses in the rear part in this way ....one hose---metal pipe--the other hose....furthermore the etka is wrong, the 2 hoses aren't joined directly , there is a petal pipe between them.....
the rear hoses that speedreligion has provided me from the E46 M3 are no loger enough to replace the original hoses...even the goodrigde ones are excesively long to replace only one of the originals hoses :headbang:

How could they claim to have a goodrigde kit and after that they sent me a M3 E46 kit....

You'll need to contact SpeedReligion immediately and ask for a FULL refund, including shipping charges both ways, as the error was on their part. Make sure you return them using a trackable service so that they cannot later claim to have not received them.

I had some custom made for me by Simpson Motorsport (so might be worth calling them as they probably have a record of the lengths).

They weren't Goodridge, but they were stainless steel braided lines, and I trust Simpson to provide decent products.
