M3 CS

Space is not a major problem. My wife drives a Volvo to cart the kids around. It's only annoying if I want to take my mountain bike out. I have to rely on her not needing the volvo or a mate to pick me up.

I think If I could wave a magic wand and have a mint low miles M3, black with red leather, Satnav and SMG I'd do it.
At the moment I just don't know if I can be bothered with the whole selling of cars. Timewasters etc.

Have you still got the E34 M5? I'd have another in a second, despite owning two already.

I'd have another in a flash, although it'd have to be the ultra-rare 'unbreakable' edition as the running costs were killing me (the Z4MC is peanuts in comparison).

The 'bucket' seats in those were comfortable, but the leather ones were not as grippy as the cloth & alcantara ones (which I prefer), and you've got to be 'well built' to take advantage of them.

Even though I'm 'heavy boned' I still prefer the tighter race-style seats, as long as they've got enough lateral support high up near the shoulders - otherwise your bottom half is stuck down but you end up using the steering wheel to support your upper body.

Andy Sixspeed's seats or the CSL ones would do me fine - just got to find someone to buy them for me :P

When you find one, give me a yell

The CS is on par performance wise. Nowt in it from 30-150!! Tried and tested.

Yeah but how many E46 M3's do we have in our fine city? Too many imo, saying that the M is going the same way unfortunately.

AMEN! You around tomo. Get mine back!

Well I had a look at a CSL today and came away a little uninspired rather than coming with..."I need one in my life."
Still looks great out the outside but looking quite dated on the inside. Seats held you in place but felt a little intrusive. I'm built like a racing snake but I felt they were pushing my shoulders forward. My Evo Tommi Makinen seats were more comfy.

Sounded great but not a million miles away from the Z4M on full chat. Handled better but straight line performance was pretty matched. So looks like the Z4M will be staying a while longer. Some AP brakes and full suspension on the Z4M must make it a series weapon and perhaps CSL killer.
