Hi all. I know this has been done to death but obvuiously still confusion even among bmw techs. My daughter s bfriend who is a six year trained bmw tech at a main dealer ,when i asked if he can code on my M C and turn off dynamic brake thingy and also switch on track mode this was his reply,if you press dsc button once quickly, one light comes on the dash and gives limited tc and turns off dbc. If you hold in dsc button for 5secs 3 dash lights come on and no dsc is activated. As M owners we all know that the m is off , or on and super nannying ! Before i ask him to investigate further can members here in the know clarify again what is what on the M and non M cars.
Many thanks.

Not much the clarify, really. M track mode (or something very close to) can be easily enabled and makes the car so much more fun to drive! Operation is like on a standard Z4: short press for track mode, long press for tracktion off.
