M steering wheel question

Is the steering wheel in the M unique or is it shared with other models/cars?

I ask as I am thinking about getting one re-trimmed (following the discussion in the bimmian thread) and would rather get a spare than change mine.

My advice would be to just have a non //M one re-trimmed. They're the same wheel, but the //M wheel is padded.

Normal wheels can be had cheap if in bad condition, I'm selling mine to Jonny on here for £20

Thanks, that's what I was asking really. Is it just in the Z4 do you know?

The wheel in the Z4 is only in the Z4.

If you don't mind using your three trim pieces (they're removable) then any z4 wheel at all will do. Doesn't even need to be multi function.

My trim pieces are pretty tired so would want to get some replacements and have those done at the same time.
