M sport seats support

My wife suffers from back ache on longish journeys, it's her lower back.
This is with the normal SE seats.
I have the chance for a pair of M sport heated seats and I would like to know if M sport seats give better back support than normal seats.

I think they do. I suffer lower back issues and on my previous zed the se seats were horrid on long trips. The M sport seats are much better on my back for longer trips.

The e89 msport seats seem better for comfort after a journey than the m sport seats I had in the e85.

My SE seats were manual also. I find the electric has much more adjustability. For me it’s not necessarily the back, but the position of my legs. I have my seat all the way down....but the knee adjustment at its highest which kinda pushes my lower back into the seat.

Seat heating also helps ease a bit of back pain too.

I’ve a really bad back, with a metal plate in it, and I’m surprised how much better the M seats are, and the heating definitely is nice!

I suffer with a lot of spinal problems, due to nerve, disc and joint damage in my lumbar area. I've found the M-Sport seats in my E85 M a godsend and find them so much more comfortable than the "normal" seats.

Yes, although no specific lumbar adjustment, the seats are more adjustable than SE seats and way more comfortable. So much so, I would not have bought a zed without Msports. But depends on your wife's particular problem of course...

Takes a bit of experimentation but, as above, being able to raise your knees up is key and then they are brilliant. As well as this, make sure the main arse pad is intact - sometimes the heating wires for the backrest can poke into your coccyx. :?

I drove 5-6 hrs a day up to and around the NC500 for 5 days without any back issues (and my lower back is pretty weak).

Cheers Paul, that's impressive. I'm hoping to change the sport seats from manual to power bases off my existing seats. Sure I've read somewhere that it's doable
