M sport bumper reflector

Hi my E89 rear bumper reflector has a slight crack so today bought a new one to fit. I'm struggling to get the old one out and don't want to damage any paint on the bumper. Has anyone done this before and is there an easy way?

I've just bought two of these for a future project.
One end hooks into bumper, the other end has a spring clip.
Looks like the best way might be to reach up behind if possible and push aside the spring clip.
Wait till tomorrow I will take a pic and post of the reflector clip.

Alternately do a Google image search, seems other reflectors in BMW range similar design.
 
Yeah I got the new one so can see how it fits but impossible to get it out from the front of the bumper. Yeah please let me know how it's done when you do yours

As promised a picture:



This is the right hand side, so the spring barb looks like it hooks behind.
Either got to squeeze it to release from behind or perhaps hook some fishing line around the barbed end of reflector and pull, hoping it will bend the barb.
