You should have swapped keys, by accident and then left the phone off. Would have taken 2 days to sort out

WLH, were you out shopping????
A little too late for that... :(
The M Roadster that my salesman bought was the last M Roadster sold by my dealer.
They still have a 3.0i that as of Wednesday was unsold...

Personally I think your montego blue looks a lot better than interlago blue, which looks too purple-ish on a gloomy day.

Can't go wrong with Montego Blue, as it is a very photogenic colour. But Interlagos Blue is definitely a deeper, richer colour when viewed in person.

Tough choice... but glad there is a choice.

I always think it's a shame BMW couldn't have done something more pleasing with the M rear silencer boxes! Would look so much better if they were hidden more like the one on the 3.0si. Side by side it makes the 3.0si look lower to me. :)

Definately prefer the third clear brake light on the blues. Both look great though :)
Being clear it makes the rear spoiler look more like a spoiler as in it looks like there is a gap instead of a light until you get close.

Did the salesman buy it for himself, I though they just used whatever they wanted for running around in?

x2.

At the introduction of the M, the Interlagos was the colour of the brochure model. Looked great and I would have gone for it. Having seen it in the flesh hundreds of times now, I am so glad I did not as the colour is nowhere near as nice as I thought it would be (IMO of course).

Correct Chris, my salesman has been there over 15 years and he get pretty much any BMW he wants to drive as a demo. I believe his current demo car is an X5. Since the current M Roadster is out of production there is no need for a demo for this model. However, he likes the roadster and decided to get one for personal use and he told me the employee deal was really great and he could not pass it up. He would not tell me the actual deal because he told me he did not want to see a grown man cry... The day I took the picture he had less than a 1,000 miles on it and flyboyaj got a ride in it when the 3 of us went to lunch.

I really like the clear third brake light on that M. Reminds me of my old '05. Can a clear one be purchased for '06+ Zs?

Looking on RealOEM I don't see any difference in part numbers between 04 and 07 so yes you can :) white/clear is cheaper than the red ones...
